Hello, We have Nortel Option 61C. After power outage,I believe our Trunks have reverted to DIP (DialPulse) rather than DTN (Digitone). What load and what command can I use to change it back to DTN. I believe our outbound calls go out on our PRI.
Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Also, How can I check to see if the trunks are on DIP (Dial Pulse) or on DTN (Digitone) mode....

LD 20
PRINT THE TN OF THE TRUNK
LD 14
CHANGE IT TO DTN ON THE CLS

I DON'T THINK IT'S THE SWITCH THOUGH

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

ld 21
ltm

will show you a list of tn's.. prt those in 20.. change them in 14..

chg
did or cot or tie

then return down to cls enter dtn and return all the way to req: do the next one

Thank you all for your input. I did review the setting and found that they were all configured as DTN. So that was not the issue.... We had a power outage and when the PBX came back up, all seem to be fine except that there is now a considerable 'lag' when making an outbound call from inside of the company. It does go out, but has long pause before dialing out.
Any suggestion would be most appreciated.
Thank you.

You may have trunks that are disabled and the switch is stepping though them until it hit a good one.

Goto LD 80

TRAC 0 xxxx (access code of route) This will list the status of the trunks.

couple of points.. you'll get better results by starting new post for new problems..

are all your trunks digital or all analog? if analog you may just have one (or more) bad trunks.. the trac on the acod may spot it.. ld 21 ltm may help.. look at ld 36 to test each via the term or test on the frame another good ld 80 command

entc 4 0 0 0 0100
gotr

if your tn is 4 0 0 0, and you stay in 80, that trac will run dynamic for 1 hour.. might help

Once again, thank you all for your support. I've eventually solved the issue. It turns out that after the reboot, the RLI has reverted to previous configuration. When I ran a tracked a call, I noticed that it was trying to go out via a trunk that no longer existed. I made changes to the RLB and the calls are going out as expected. I am not sure as to why it has reverted to previous configuration after the reboot.
Thank you so much for your support!

It looks like your system may not be doing backup's when changes are made.

Look at yout TTY output in the morning and look to see if the system did a backup during the MIDS

Print your CFN and look at the DROL to see if 43 is is in there
