What I am trying to do may be simple, I need to put some time aside to think more about how to handle this and until then here is what I would like to do. Record the digital signal to a seperate pc so I can somehow change the recording to an analog signal or a tape.
I have a Comdial DXP in the closet. The handset is an "impact". I want to simply plug in to the handset and record any conversation. There is a RJ11 4x6 to plug into from the wall and on the backside another female rj11. The signal coming through is digital. How can I plug a sound card or other device into a pc and then record that on to a tape?
