I've recently added a new ddi range to our Nortel cs1000, the range begins with 11**. Now when I try and create a Callpilot mailbox I get an error message: Mailbox Number conflicts with the name dialing/address shift prefix. (error code: 60626)
From reading various threads I believe this may be related to the default name dialling prefix which is 11.

How do I change this prefix and what are the implications of doing so? Do I change this from the Callpilot Manager web interface?
This is not a feature we use so I would imagine a quick change of prefix should do the job...

I've been away from Nortel and Callpilot for a few years now..

Log into CP Manager. Go to Messaging/Messaging Management. Scroll down to the "Name Dialing" section and you will see the 11 prefix.
