How to change default location for Table Import definitions

The default location for Table Import definitions is on the user's local C drive where the GP app is installed. Does anyone know how to change that default location? We would like to save our Table Import definition files (SY5*.*) in a shared location.

I don't believe that you can change the path for these files, the runtime expects them in the application folder.
