How to change default color????

I am designing web pages with Dreamwearver MX and need to copy & paste text inforamtion from word documents a lot.

I want to have black color when I do copy and paste. But the text I copied into Dreamwearver MX is giving me different color. For right now, I manually change the color everytime I do copy and paste .

I am thinking that in order to get right color, a setting in the Dreamwearver MX needs to be reset. But I don't know which one and how to reset. I went to Edit --> Preferences and couldn't find the place where I can change the default color as black color.

Also, the bullet color was driving me crazy. I could not even change the bullet manually. How to change the bullet color? I don't use CSS at this time. Thanks.

You will need to use css to change the colour of the bullets, as for the text copied out of .docs it is probably carrying the formating across from Word, try pasing into a text file first then re copying that
