Hi,

I am setting up test Back End tables, and now want to link my Front End to these new test tables. New (and original) tables are on my Local Server. How do I go about finding/listing the new Back End tables? In Linked Table Manager, I tried Select All, and checked Always Prompt for New Location. The Machine Data Source tab has Local MSDE. But DATABASE next to each table listed only has original tables. Do I have to set up new test tables somewhere within ODBC? Do I have to do something within SQL Server? (the new back end is set up as a database within SQL Server, as is the original back end).

Thanks.... Lorirobn

The Linked Table Manager does not handle new tables.
It is purely for relocating existing links.
You have to use File>GetExternalData>LinkTables to add new links into the front end.
