Hi,
using "Windows Key + E" I can start Windows Explorer. Is there any way to change this behavior and start some other program like Microsoft Word for example?
Thanks,
Grofaty
This should get you to the right spot Otherwise, some keyboards offer software to configure keys. If you have a MS or Logitech keyboard they offer software to control the keyboard layout.
There about a dozen pre-defined Windows Key combos. You may be able to change them by digging in the registry, but I wouldn't. But, Win XP allows you to set shortcut keys for any aplication. Just right-click on any .exe file, select Properties. Click the Shortcut tab in the Properties window. Then, press the keys you want to use. I believe you're limited to CTRL + ALT + a letter. Note: Some programs (rather rudely) set these kinds of shortcut keys when they are installed, possibly stealing a shortcut you established for something else.
