Good morning all,

Well our operator was terminated last week and now I need to get into her voice mail box to check our messages. The problem is I do not have her password to access these messages. Is there a way I can reset this extensions password without having a password to access that mail box? We are using a Magix R4.0 - V7.0. Her station set is a 4424 with a 4450 attached. Please help.

Thank you in advance for any help.

You can login to the voicemail as System Administrator (the mailbox you get into to build/destroy mailboxes and tweak the Automated Attendant). There is an option that allows you to reset a mailbox password.

1. System Admin login -- details are not given here
2. Choose Extension Administration
3. Dial the extension number and press #
4. Choose option #1, Mailbox Extensions
5. Choose option #3, Reinitialize Password
