Hi Friends,
How can I change all colors #003366 to someting like #443322?
for example I have some icons in green and I want to change it to red.
Thanks in advance,
Pat
You can press Ctrl+U to change the hue/saturation just slide the hue bar to change the color until you reach the desired color. Caution this will change the whole image though and not just the green. I will explain how to do this more in an hour or so.
When I said that changing the HUE/SATURATION changes the whole image I forgot that it was set to the wrong setting, and by setting it correctly it will do what you want to accomplish. Goto IMAGE|ADJUSTMENTS|HUE/SATURATION (Ctrl+U) then there is a drop-down menu that has the word MASTER selected. You need to change that to GREENS then move the HUE slider to get the desired red, and for a richer color of red move the SATURATION slider to the right. You can use this method for changing any color, just make sure to change the drop-down menu accordingly. To change the whole image's HUE/SATURATION you select MASTER.
However if you have several different shades of green then it would take forever to specify each color box, but instead you can use my method to change them all at once and you can easily use the sliders to get the desired color.
Damn good for your first week using Photoshop Wullie, you taught me someting. Star for you. LOL
