how to chage a CPN Prefix listed in definity public-unkown-number table

I have a few extension that have the wrong CPN Prefix but I can't seem to change them - how do I update the table

When I do change and I put in the correct info on the table says already in table - but it will not let me change extension individually

8200 - 8215 have the wrong # being displayed

Are you just trying to modify the cpn prefix colum only? I was just able to modify mine so am confused as to why you can not modify yours

I typed change public-unknown-number 1

remove the entries in that range and then rebuild, piece of cake I just did it on my system, also you can do a list public to see all entries

First, do 'list public-unknown' and capture the output. Next do 'change public-unknown-numbering 4 ext-digits 8200'. That should bring up the table for that block of numbers. This assumes that your extensions are 4 digits long.

so is there an easier way to project out the caller it for each extension without typing them all in? I have a range 8300 8399 that we want to send their direct dial numbers. I have been just putting in table one at time

Wow that's the hard way for a new range of extensions let's say 5400 thru 5499 the entry would be ext length 4 extension code would be 54 then plug in trunk group and cpn prefix
