Hi,
I am writing a C++ console application. I would like a C-style string, say, char* message = “Beware danger!!” to blink (flash, go on and off) so as to attract the user’s attention. How might I do that? I would be grateful for all help.

Note that the blink attribute may or may not be implemented on xterms.
