we have an application that uses one mdb (front-end) that connects to one (of many) mdb (back-end'S). Each back-end mdb has several reports. I would like to add a form to the front-end that would have a series of command buttons, each tied back to a different report. How do you reference reports that are not loclal?

I could be horribly wrong here (in which case you'll get responses saying so) but I think reports have to be local...the one exception I've personally seen to that is the hyperlinks, but that actually opens an instance of the other db...which is something you probably don't want. I would suggest pulling all of the reports in to the front end and then linking everything else in. That's how I have most of my db's set up, front end just houses forms and reports along with a few queries. Hope that helps.
