How to call GUI window from MF cobol

Dear All,

Can we call java program ( GUI features ) from MF cobol application...If yes..then How...??? If no then can we write cobol program in some other GUI supported COBOL version.

You can call VB GUIs from MF COBOL.

I didn't understand right but sees if that help.

1 - you can use GUI using Dialog System(Microfocus),I prefer, so much for MS-Windows, OS/2, Mainframe.

You can use other manufacturers' product. Flexus and Screenio.

It can use OOP to create your GUI.

2 - web. It can use FormDesigner(Microfocus) or any other tool web.
Netexpress supports perfectly Java and .NET

One more query - I want to display an Image ( .jpg file ) from a MF cobol application. Is it possible from cobol or I need to call java/c++ program to carry out the required results.

I know java but I don't know anything about cobol.
