How to call a macro?

Whean I write down the macro name, it said:

no command is found

Is it necessary to put the macro name into library?
how can it be done?

It might help everyone if you would provide more details, such as what type of Rexx you are running on what type of system, and what do you mean by a "macro"? What kind of macro? Written in what language?

All REXX edit macros must be in SYPROC or SYSEXEC; all CLIST edit macros must be in SYSPROC.
