I have been asked to provide a report which will break down the number of items based on the date.

I am creating a crosstab report which is briken down by month.

I am stuck as to how to have it count by month, and week.

Example:

Jan Feb
Week1 Week2 Week3 Week4 Week1 Week2 Week3 Week3
New Items 2 6 8 3 6 11 4 1
Outstanding 3 2 2 1 5 4 2 0

I have it all working except the by week part as I don;t know how to do this or if it is even possible.

Thank s in advance for any assistance.

Create a formula {@Wk} like this:

Datepart("ww",{table.date})+1
- Datepart("ww",({table.date}-Day({table.date})+1))

Add {table.date} as your first column->group options->on change of month. Then add {@Wk} as your second column field->group options->options tab->customize group name->use a formula->x+2 and enter:

"Wk"+totext({@Wk},0,"")

Add your summaries as usual (and a row field, if you have one). Place the crosstab in a report header or report footer section.
