How to boot into text mode. 1

Hi,

After running Xconfigurator, now my linux box automatically boots into GUI mode (KDE). What do I need to change, in order to boot into text mode again.

Thanx for any help.
 
Look for this line in /etc/inittab

id:5:initdefault:

Change the 5 to a 3.

or simply run xconfigurator again and at the and (in the graphics test) don't selec automatic Xwindow start.

but the way described by matt is nicer ;-)
