Hello all I have a boot disk and I need it to boot off the CD-ROM to reinstall windows. Windows 98 is messed up and I cant even get to explorer etc. off start up. I can from the boot disk get to the drive letter of the cd. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Boot from floppy with cd support. Move to CD. Setup. Ed Fair

Any advice I give is my best judgement based on my interpretation of the facts you supply. Help increase my knowledge by providing some feedback, good or bad, on any advice I have given.

You should also be able to change the BIOS boot options to boot from CD. Keep the 1st option to floppy, change second device to CD, 3rd to Hard drive. When your running normal again, reset 2nd device back to hard drive.
