We use VNC to allow one of our remote employees access to a workstation. We use a WatchGuard SOHO6 firewall to manage the port.

There doesn't appear to be a way in the Watchguard to specify time slots during which the VNC port would be open.

Does anyone know of a software tool that would run in the background on the workstation (Windows XP) by which we could specify time slots that the necessary port(s) would be open?

OR... does anyone know of a version of VNC that would provide this feature?

Best thing to do is Google it, there may be some free software for this purpose.

Thanks for the reply, but nope, wasn't able to find anything there.

I do have a Netgear FVS318 router in place and it will allow to block ports by schedule.
