How to block port 1583? 2

Running Win98SE, application requires blocking port #1583. No idea where to start, any help greatly appreciated!
 
You have to use something like a firewall to do this. The only one I can come up with right now is BlackICE Defender. I know for sure there are more (not so sophisticated) solutions available.

Try out Zone Alarm Pro (standard doesnt give you the option to configure individual ports.)
