We keep getting a call from a spefic number telemarking number that we want blocked. I need to keep my DID number the same as it's the main number to adminstrative section. .Avaya S8710

Turn the DID into a VDN and give user/group new number. VDN to Vector xxx.
Vector xxx
1 goto step 3 if ani = ###-###-####(number of the pesky telemarketers)
2 route-to number (New number) unconditionally
3 busy or disconnect after announcement ###

Don't publish their new number they will still be reached at the current number with this setup.

If you have some EC500 lic. you can use that to block any DID from enter you system from any point. And you do not have to re-program the extension. And it will still block the call if they call any phone number in your system not just the one they are calling now.

Build a COR that is fully restricted. Build an extension that has that new COR.
Set Off-PBX-Telephone station to the new Extension with the phone number that you want to block, set call allowed, and bridge calls to none.

I hope a remember everything.
