Hi all,

Avaya small office, IP401NG, on ISDN, client getting random calls to pabx, from numbers, causes all phones to ring, and by passes the incoming call route rules?? number like 999, 995, 345, 9000, etc etc, come thru on the caller id screens, i have tried tracing the numbers,

i ran some rules in incoming call route, ir, line cid 135 goto *99, *99 busy, this cured for a while, but now number getting more random, and my incoming list getting longer, with numbers.

and way i can blanket any number shorter than 7 digits to goto busy.

i thought about using wildcards ###### go busy, but not work

any help would be great

Delete the incoming call route without a DDI number.
In the ICR for known DDI numbers add a minus sign left of the full DDI number like -3524877855 then ONLY a full match of the DDI number is accepted, any other number is rejected by IP Office.

if you are getting DDI's like this delivered than you need to speak to your line provider
Why are they delivering you these garbage DDI's inthe first place

I suspect you may have something stranger happening, do you even have a group that contains all extns?

System Monitor & System Status will probably be requires to prove whta is rally happening

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
