Team members hi
Is it possible to block incomming calls on BCM400 release 4.0 that do not have CLID number? So all incomming calls that do not present a number to me either blocked or guided to somewhere like a spesific DN?
Thanks
Nikos

Only if there carrier sent a numeric code as the number such as 1000 then you could use the CLID Routing Table in Callpilot, requires AA to answer all calls.
I somehow doubt they do as usually "Unknown" letters instead.

Or reverse technology maybe, have not tried this...

Use the Routing Table and see if you can add only single digits, not sure if the table can just go by the first digit inbound or if you can use * as ANY etc.
You would send those calls to CCR or reception etc however you get the "one moment please" recording first.

Forgot to add you would need to do 2 trees, one for normal calls and one for unknown calls.

The problem is that the user that wants to block the unknown calls receives calls direct on his set via his ddi mumber.
So his target line brings in all calls and they ring on the set.
telco provider said cannot block the calls that have no CLID.. and the user receives threat calls that are blocked.

If they are truly threats then I would contact local law enforcement. They should be able to get to the person calling or if it’s an analog trunk you could try *69 to try and track the call back to the source.

it is an ISDN PRI trunk but provider ( Vodafone) cannot block it. We asked for tracking but meed police OK first.
