How to backup STRATA LIVELINK

Hello Folks,

We had a STRATA LIvelink on windows server which was originally using RDM and raw partitions. This has been converted to VMDKs.

Question is that can we take a snapshot of this VM ( as most of backup solutions are based on Snapshots based techniques).. if not what is best way to take a consistent backup of this LEA server ?
