please help including all cmds for backip up option11

Few ways if you have a Compact flash (smaller San Disks seem to be best although others work) and a PCMCIA caddy you can BKO or Archive. If you want to do it to PC over serial connection you can XBK. Before you start carry out a LD 43 command EDD, so you are working from the latest Database.

You can put a PCMCIA into drive B on the SSC and backup using LD 43 command BKO. Restore using Command RSR.

You can Archive the database with a PCMCIA in drive A on the SSC using LD 143 command Upgrade select Utilities then archive (For this you must be on TTY 0). Restore much the same way easy to find this is all menu driven.

You can take a local or remote backup over a serial connection using LD 143 command XBK it will ask you to give it a name (can be any thing 6 letter/digits i think)then on your PC program (Procomm/Hyperterminal/etc) you tell it to receive file using XModem and give it a file name on you PC. Transfers you can Verify the file by sending it back using commant XVR then send file using XModem this will verify your saved file matches the Database on the switch. You can restore using XRT.

If you have Procomm - I've scripted the serial connection backup option. (OPT11_BUP)

You connect as you normally would to the PABX with Procomm, then run this script. It will perform an EDD in LD43. Then LD143 - XBK to download the backup file. And then LD143 - XVR to verify the file. The script creates a Backup Filename using your Procomm DIALCONNECT Entry Name for that PABX and the current date.
