How to back up SS cots rls 7.0

hi i tryin to back up my SS Cots Rls 7.0 in Linux....
but i dont know how to do this.. im reading manual pdf NN43001-730_04.02 troubleshooting for distributors.
this pdf say i can backup the sys with
$ sysbackup -b
1. Backup to USB device.
2. Backup to SFTP server.

but my question is...this backup copy all SS config files? or Backup the Linux OS ...sorry about newby question but im confused about this...if i backup this mode i can reinstall Linux OS and Recover my old configuration with restore?

It's not going to back up much. FQDN, and IP addresses, that's about it. All the other information is in the Call Server. But if you have NRS you can back that up separately through the NRS.
