Can someone please tell me how to back up and restore Outlook Express Mail? Are there specific files to back up & restore the folders, for instance the Inbox, Sent, Saved, Deleted and newly created folders. Also how do you back up and restore the address book contacts? Thank you!

How To Back Up & Restore Outlook Express Mail 2

Hi,
All mail lives in the following;-
c:\windows\local settings\application data\identities\microsoft\outlook express (for Win 9x. For XP/W2K you go through c:\documents & settings\"your profile name" etc)
Copy that folder to a safe place. To restore, open Outlook Express, go File\import\messages\store directory and browse to your safe location.
Address book (WAB) lives in c:\windows\application data\microsoft\address book. Copy to safe place. To restore go Outlook Express and open "Address". Then go File\import
Simple? yes. Other wyas too but this is easiest.
