Hello,

In Illustrator 9, I've noticed that if I use Gaussian blur near the edge of an illustration or if I use special effects like texturizing, when I Save to Web, additional white space is created around the illustration.

I've tried several methods, such as flattening the artwork, to try to get rid of this additional white space, but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Bill

Create a rectangle around the work that you want to save and convert it to a crop area.

Very cool! In Illustrator 9, I didn't see "Crop Area", but going to object --> Make Crop Marks did the job.

Thanks!
