I am doing a 2 generation (2 pool) backup with offsite transport. Pool A will be backup on first week while pool B will skip. The pool that is schedule a skip on the week will not have the tape in the library (stored offisite). But Networker will still issue a backup on bootstrap even if it is schedule for a skip. It will then look for the tape, which is not in the library then follow by an error being not able to locate a suitable volume label. Can anyone advise how to overcome this problem?
