we have a small workgroup of 10 windows 2000 pro pc's. we created profiles on all the pc's. the problem we have is when users forget to log off their profile. right now we have activated the screen saver after 1 min, and password protected the screen saver. the problem with that is users forget to log off, then leave. after their screen saver kicks in, no one but the admistrator can get into the pc. i need a way for the computer to automatically log off all users. is this possible in a workgroup?

Hey

You can copy the shutdown.exe app from the \system32 folder of a XP machine and install it on Win2k. You can also try EMCO's Remote Shutdown. Really good and free.

Good Luck,

Steve Hewitt
