How to Automate the Import function

Given a text file, what would be required to create a macro/procedure/scheduled task that could be started automatically?

We are using 2006 8.0

There isn't a macro system in ACT! 8.0. You need to write a plug-in.

For impoting and merging data into the database, I use itImport. At this time, you'd need to manually run it, but I've been toled they'll soon have an addon to allow it to run as a service. Info on itImport at:
