I just bought an expensive GUI program to fetch data from a $30/month data feed.
With a lot of mouse clicks I can search via an zip code and manually save the details each entry to my choice of XLS or PDF files. The entries are formated in a paginated table, approximately 10 entries per page (kinda like a google search). When I click on an entry I get the details which I can then save to an XLS file.
Can someone recommend a low $ cost utility that will help me automate the procedure of saving the details of all my matches in XLS files?
I started to write my own program to simulate mouse clicks when I decided someone has probably already written such a program!
I did a google search and found a couple of programs for $60-$100. Can anyone recommend something less expensive?
I'll eventually want to scrape the XLS and put it into microsoft Access files. Does anyone know of a way to do that easily? I could always write a perl program to extract the contents of the cells and stuff it into MSAccess I suppose.
Thanks,
Siegfried
