Hi,

I have a teradata script .sql file, which needs the automation in order to run it every month. So, i have to automate it and run it in Unix platform using Putty.

I just have some clue that, we need to make it as a bteq script and then run it. But, i don;t know how to make the script as bteq and run it from Putty.
And, how to change the snap dates, for example.. if i want to run for January, date is 2014-31-01, for feb, 2014-30-02 so on... i want the script to run for each month by automating.

Please help me. I am not sticking alone to bteq here for automation. Any other ways are also welcome.

Thanks,
Nikhitha.
