Hi,

I do not want to modify /etc/inittab file.
I'm unable to auto start Apache in /etc/rc.d/rc2.d directory.
In rc2.d dir, I have created 2 scripts (ie. S98apache.sh, K98apache.sh)
Whe I rebooted AIX 5.1 server, it does not autostart Apache S98apache.sh.

Plse help ...

Why not add the scripts to rc.local and then put rc.local in the inittab?

Why not change the inittab?

In AIX you use the inittab to run things at startup. The RC directories are there for compatibility reasons.
