How to assign public rights to a cifs share ?

Hi,

i need to assign the trustee "public" to a folder (like sys:\login) so that everybody can see it without logging in.

Why does that not work via the cifs emulation (Netware 6.5 Sp6 CIFS V 3.25
8. August 2007)
Even when i create a share that points to this directory it does not work

Any ideas ? With the Novell Client it works.

Ive got answer from novell support:

This functionality (Share security) was available in older versions of cifs but is no longer supported because of massive trouble with it.
