I am developing our Outlook/Exchange contact folder forms. I create a new form, and can set it to be the default form for creating a new contact. How do I apply that form to my EXISTING contacts, so that when they are opened, they display in that new form?

-- Aaron Cutchin
-- LAN Admin, BJG
-- admin@bjg.com
In the microsoft knowledge base, article Q170301 discusses how to update existing outlook items to use your new custom form. I know this applies to Outlook 97 because I ran into that situation helping a friend. You'll have to download Omsgclas.exe which is a Word 97 document with a macro in it that will update the read-only message class field of existing items. Sounds more complicated than it is to use!

Good Luck.
