How to Apply a Background Colour to a Dashboard

Hi

I am really struggling with something that I think ought to be simple... I need to change the colour of the background on all my dashboard pages (ie each page on my Corporate Dashboard). I have tried editing the main dashboard stylesheet and unless there is a very easy customisable option I have missed I don't want to go down this route any further.

Any ideas? I can may be add a huge text analytic with an image but then I don't think I can place my analytics on top... (???) Really stuck ... I am creating a dashbaord for presales work and I think a white background looks harsh..
