Dear All,
I have the following problem and asking for your support.
In remote office we have one PC with Motorola 3266FAST connected via 2-wire leased line to head office, connecting to the same kind of modem. The distanse between PC and Head ofice is quite long and the link is dropping very often, leading to unacceptable service.
I would be very grateful , if you advise me is there any device, which could be connected into break of leased line (somewere in the middle of the way) will amplify the signal level between modems.
If such devise is exist kindly advise the name / model.
Thank you very much for any thoughs.

im afraid your connection is not a true point to point leaseline connection we have experienced it here in our office in the philippines, we thought our connection is point to point till we found it was a frame relay where the connection is not reliable, now w have a client from our office about 345kms using true point to point connection and we never encountered problem of disconnection....

I have a problem reading the statistics regarding router CPU utilization from our vendor.
I need to come up with Repoting System to our Vendors.
Also the drill down in Vendors network is from switches, I Need statistics from the routers.

You can contact your local Telco. You can also id it by circuit ID. On your router as well, if the configuration files show any type of CIR, then more then likely it is frame relay. You said that you are running a 2 wire connection, what is the speed of your "leased line"?
If it is a T-1 they are trying to save pairs and have you on a 2 wire HDSL system, which is very reliable. you may want to have your telco run loopback tests end to end on your circuit, this will also confirm if you have a poit to point set up as well.
