We recently migrated from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007.
We are now requiring secure IMAP4 for all non-Outlook users (PDA, etc)
So far, all good, it's all working. (even the IPhone users)

But...
We have an automated VB script that pulls mail from a special mailbox on the
server to create service tickets for our ticketing system.
Unfortunately the script cannot be used with secure IMAP.

I understand from the Exchange 2007 documentation how to enable/disable
secure IMAP for the whole 2007 mail server, but is there a way to allow
non-secure IMAP for just one mailbox?

Through power shell or other means?
Thanks!

I don't think so, but ... Have you looked into the windows firewall and only allowing the port for the one IP address?

xmsre,
thank you for the reply.
No the Windows client side firewall would not be a suitable way to control traffic from the Exchange server.

Zelandakh,
Thank you for your reply,
(Please remember to fully read the question before offering a reply.) I need to allow non-secure IMAP4 for one mailbox for use with an automated VB script for support tickets.

(I really don't care at all about Iphones :)

Regards,
Dana
