Easy question (I hope)
When conferencing internal parties all works fine, however when conferencing in 1 external party the original party drops out.
Example:
A Phones B (B answers)
A Initiates Conference to C (B On Hold)
C Answers
A completes conference
B Drops

All I get is a message saying "Cannot complete conference"
If C is internal, no issues.

Call Manager Version - 6.1.2.1000-13

Sounds like possible codec issue. Transcoding used? Resources accessible to B??

If you can get Detailed trace, you should be able to see why B is being dropped.

Loucanick is probably right on. Codec mismatch and no transcoding resourced defined.

FYI just for clarity, looked like my test phone was in a location without defined Conference Bridge.
Once I changed to correct location, external conference worked.
