Hi folks,

I'm used to working under AIX so Solaris is quite hard for me to find my way through...

I've been trying to configure sendmail on our Solaris machine the same way I did several times before on an AIX machine.

So far so good. But since there doesn't seem to be something like a "sendmail subsystem", that responds to the command "refresh -s sendmail" for any changes to take effect :) I'm wondering how this is done under Solaris...

Thanks in advance !

Regards
Thomas

Hi,

There's a script called sendmail in /etc/init.d
You can call him with stop or start parameter to do the job.

After making configuration changes in sendmail.cf file, u need to restart sendmail in solaris.. PLS DO NOT send HUP signal to refresh!

Well, sendmail startup dile is under /etc/init.d/ folder.
