How to add trap SNMP MD110

HI, I Have MD 110 BC10 and I want PABX send alarm to NMS (Network Managment System)by trap SNMP.How network sulution ? and What's use board ,command and connectivity? Sorry for bad word.

Hi

You need to have a board called AAU (Access Agent Unit) plus a SNMP module software downloadble in the board. This AAU is inserted in any slot in the MD and is not declared as telephony board: it only fetch the power from backplane.
The information about the alarm of the system are send over V24 from IPU/NIU/NIU2 to AAU. AAU is connected to the lan and send the trap SNMP according to the Ericsson MIB toward an NMS (so far HPOpenview)

Thank.How about alarm of the system are send over IPU (Cable connect from IPU to ?) and what's use command for send Alarm ?
A SNMP module software downloadble in the board. Meaning is software include AAU or not.

Hi

You should buy from your supplier the AAU board and the SNMP software that has to be downloaded into.
YOu should also have a cable to connect the IPU to the AAU.
Some configuration might be done on the AAU and on the configuration file in the AAU to sand the trap to the NMS
To send the alarm to the AAU you should use the ALAPI command.
Thius mean that you have a dedicated V24 port from your IPU connetced to a dedicated port on the AAU.

MD 110 Version on BC9 .Is version support AAU2 ?

AAU is supported in any releases as it is a board no inserted logically in the system.
