how to add switch ERS4500 to the nortel voip network solution..?

Hi all

Our customer has Nortel switches for voip solution..so he use two ERS5000 switches as backbone and 6 ERS4500 as edge switches that are connected to the Backbone through Fiber cables.

Thoses ERS4500 switches are used to connect IP Phones..Now one of thoses switches is full and he want to add other IP Phones on this switch..how to add another switch ERS4500 to this network ..

Please give us all solutions that are possible..

You could either add another 4500 and create a switch stack or if you want a standalone unit you would need another fiber connection to the core switches. I would recommend a stack configuration for the 4500. Just make sure to put the correct VLAN for the VoIP on the new switch.
