Hi All,

I have a Windows 2003 server running Active Directory and would like to add my SuSe Linux box into the domain. Right now the linux box seems to be in it's own domain called Tux-Net. I am totally new to Linux and getting quick and easy answers would be great. Thanks to all!!!

Windows Domain:
cheo2k3comqdc (PDC)
cheowinxppro (XP Workstation)
cheowin2ksrv (2000 Server)

Tux-Net Domain:
cheolinuxbox (SuSe Linux 10 box running Samba)

Although the guide I recommended installs samba from source, Suse 10 will, more than likely, come with samba. If you have not selected samba at install time though, and if you are new to linux as you mentioned, I would rather install it from rpm instead of compling the source code.

Here is where you find rpm package for samba

ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/samba/

Cheers
