How To Add Shortcut On Today Screen?

Hi

I have been asked if it is possible to add a shortcut to the Today Screen

I have downloaded 3 or 4 apps but they come with no help files on how to add them, I just wondered if there is a simple way to do it, all I need is two shortcuts:

- One shortcut to Contacts
- One shortcut to o2 XDA Phone

Any help would be appreciated

There is no way to add shortcuts to the Today screen with out a third party tool. There is a free app called Launcher that will do what you need. There are others, but some have extras or a tabbed look. Take a look at PocketPC Freewares to find other program launchers.

You also could always have a shortcut right from the start menu. Goto Start-->Settings-->Menu. There you can check and uncheck what you want to show in the menu.
