We have a Win 2003 R2 server that is running SQL Server 2005 SP2. All SQL Server 2005 components EXCEPT Reporting Services were installed on this server when is was built.

SQL Server 2005 was originally installed at RTM then upgraded to SP1 and then later upgraded to SP2.

We now have a need to run Reporting Services on this server. I would like to know what is involved in installing Reporting Services to this server.

Is it as simple as running setup.exe from the SQL Server 2005 installation CD, adding the Reporting Services functionality and then reapplying SP2 to make sure all components are at the correct service pack level?

Are there any traps for young players that I should be aware of in this situation?

Thanks in advance to all who reply.

Yes. All you need to do is put the SQL Server install back in and only check Reporting Services.

Things to remember. IIS must be installed of course and this is typically NOT a good idea on your production database server but if cost is an issue then people have done it. After you install SSRS you'll need to go through the SSRS configuration tool which is pretty self explaining to get it setup and running.
