how to add parameters in parameter tab of data report?

1) i want to add a parameter in parameter tab of my report.I get a connection and add a command, write a query with parameter. but the parameter tab is not activated. how can i add a parameter?

2) Crystal report does not support to access 2000? I have created a report in crystal report and when i call it using a vb6 form, it shows the following error.
"Unable to connect: incorrect logon parameter"
I have not given any password to the database.
what would be the result?

I had the same problem with a project I worked on. The problem ended up being the name of one of the fields in the database. It turned out to be a reserved word. Instead of using "ClassLevel", I used "Level" which is a reserved word in some databases. When I changed it, everything worked fine.
