can someone please tell me how to set up sybase to allow more than 10 devno/number of devices Please

hello,

try this...

sp_configure, devices, [value you need]
go

then bounce the server...

please note that if you are running disk init... 0 is for the master device and the max value you can use for the vdevno parameter is one less than the value devices...
