I need to add 50 mobilex licenses to a cs1000e switch. I copied the file that was sent to my customer to a cf card and went to load 143 and did command KNEW RMD and the response was 'keycode directory not found'.
Any suggestions?

Mailbox licenses are added into the Call Pilot not the CS1K. You will need to run config wizard on the Call Pilot tio inout the new keycode.

I may have been misunderstood, the licenses are for MobileX, not mailbox licenses. Thanks for the reply though.

Very sorry, yes, licenses for Mobile X would be in the cs1k. Basically you download the new key code, Install the customers compact flash into your laptop that has the database on it. Open up the CF and you will see a key code folder. Open up the keycode folder and rename the present keycode file something like keycodeold.kcd Put the new key code file in the same folder and name it keycode.kcd. Put the CF into the CPU and then go into ld 143. Type the command kdif fmd rmd and then select the keycode.kcd to compare it to. This will show you the differences between the 2 keycodes. If that all looks fine then do the knew command and install the new keycode. Make sure the file has the kcd extension.
