We just put in a new video conference setup, and are attempting to phase out the mitel 5340 phone in the conference room w/ saucer, and simply use the lifesize conference saucer as a SIP extension. It is a beautiful device and I realize we are going to lose some functionality moving away from the Mitel phone, but why have two phones on the desk.

In the settings we did setup the device to allow SIP connections.

What do I need (Licenses) and what settings/how to setup in the 3300 as a station?
This is the setup, the speaker phone is what I am after:

Thanks for the help,

Phone Hardware:
Release Level: 6.0
Active Software Load: 12.0.049
Platform CX-II, 512mb of RAM
Mitel 3300 (2 Controllers, 2 locations)
5340, 5330, 5320 Phones
(SIP Service via AT&T IP FLEX - 30 Trunks Total)

Well you will need one licence and probably use the generic sip device to set it up. After that you will need to play with the sip peer profile if the unit has not been certified for the 3300 and unless you can find someone who has done it already you are going to be on your own because it will be a case of setup and test and change setup to overcome problems.

You may be in luck, there is a Lifesize document on MoL which although not for the 600 may help you on the way. Its in the knowledge base.
