How to Add Icon in Add/Remove programs? 1

Hi,
How do I add an icon of my choice in the "Add/Remove" programs for my application ?

I am using Wise InstallMaster 8.1 and what I've noticed is that my application gets different icon on different Operating systems.
I get the intended behavior on all Windows XP machines and
on I get different icon on each Windows 2000.

What is the problem? Is there some setting that has to be done.

I am not aware of any difference between operating systems for the icon value.

The only way I know to set the icon on the Add/Remove programs list, is to find the key in the registry for this program in the Add/Remove list (within HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Uninstall/). Once you find the key for your application, the 'DisplayIcon' value represents what icon to use in the Add/Remove programs list. This should be the path to the .ico file.
